Upcoming workshops

By Dennis Lapré
Workshop Street Photography (Dutch)

Wednesday 26 October | 10.00 - 12.00 | Dennis Lapré | Groningen

Taking to the streets and photographing people and their surroundings is a challenge for many photographers. Whether you're on vacation or walking around your own city, it often feels like you have to cross a threshold first to grab your camera and point it. While most people don't even realize they're being photographed, it's often the uncertainty of the photographer himself that gets in the way of a beautiful photo.

The center of the city of Groningen, with its markets and full shopping streets, is ideal for putting on the naughty shoes and practicing.

  • Technique and composition
  • Timing
  • Work in public spaces
  • Approaching your subjects
  • Fee: €15

During the workshops it is important that you have an (SLR) camera yourself. Please note: full battery, empty card and good walking shoes. Meeting location: At the bottom of the Martini Tower.

  • Work with bad lighting
  • Werken met bestaand licht
  • The Blue Hour
