Akadamaerde ist ein mineralisches Granulat mit einem PH Wert von 5 6 (schwach sauer). Es wird in Japan abgebaut und mehrfach getrocknet. Dieses anorganische Lehmgranulat ist formstabil und weist eine hervorragende Drainageeigenschaft sowie eine sehr gute Luftdurchlssigkeit auf.
