Activities

Together with the head of marketing, communication officer, the graphic designer and a number of content creators, you are responsible for festival promotion and branding. You ensure that the public, partners and the press are aware of what is going on, now and in the future.

  • Writing and distributing press releases, newsletters and articles.
  • Managing the press kit and press coverage
  • Making and managing joint promotion agreements
  • Coordination of offline media from design and printing to distribution
  • Manage budget and use of paid advertising
  • Coordination of the promotion team; organization promo day
  • Giving tasks to the graphic designer
  • Contribute to the development of the marketing plan, marketing strategy and (data) reporting
  • Audience research through surveys and data analysis website
  • Festival location management
Profile

We are looking for a team player with commercial insight, who has an eye for the needs of different target groups. You are behind the ideologie of NonFiction Photo and is happy to help reach more audiences.

  • You have experience with and are aware of the local press and knowledge platforms in the field of culture and social themes
  • You can write journalism from a brand identity
  • You have creative and communicative skills, both orally and in writing.
  • You can work systematically, do not have a 9 – 5 mentality and can work with tight deadlines
  • You have experience with promotional projects, both online and offline
  • You have experience with data managementYou have experience with data management
  • Knowledge of marketing, social media and PR strategy
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Excel, Google Drive, Trello and Mailchimp is a plus
  • Experience in sales and acquisition is a plus
Internship

It is possible to fill this vacancy as an intern, from 5 ECT. Under the guidance of experienced professionals you can work part time or full time. We adjust the internship period, duration and content to fit your course and education level. This is a challenging internship with hard deadlines, especially if you have your run between October and December.

Traineeship

If you are at the start of your career, it is possible to fulfill this position as a trainee. This is a work experience place with personal guidance and a lot of responsibility.

NonFiction Photo Community

NonFiction photo is an ideological organisation with an eye for its people. Here you work both independently and in a team as part of a diverse team in a creative environment. You have plenty of room for self-development, get a look behind the scenes of a large-scale cultural event and can meet (well-known) photographers. The team meets up monthly for consultation and conviviality and ends the period with a party. Working Period

First half of the year

From February to July you are committed to content creation and projects such as pop-up exhibitions, podcasts, lessons on location and workshops.

Second half of the year

Van september tot november ben je bezig met festivalpromotie, tijdens het festival in november en begin december ben je op locatie bezig als locatiemanager, werk je backstage met het marketing team en neem je deel aan het Visual Academy programma om content te verzamelen. Na de kerstvakantie (laatste twee weken december) schrijf je mee aan het projectverslag en verzorg je de overdracht.

Weekly

You work two to three days a week (depending on how fast you work) mainly at our office between 10am and 6pm. The working days and times can be agreed upon in consultation, as long as everything is completed on time. Working (partly) at home is also negotiable.

The tasks can be expanded, depending on your availability and interests. It is possible to shift the timing of the work in consultation.
